Anyway, I didn't get the oppurtunity to attend Breyerfest this year (plow truck needs a new engine . . . I love my truck!) but I did get to do a whole lot of painting. I had a bunch of models prepped already since we had some nice dry weather I could prime in so the herd was ready to go this weekend! I completed a PAS and matching foal in appaloosa, a mustang mare, a matched pair of Roy belgians (that's them up above), a donkey (so freaking cute below) and tomorrow I put paint to a windblown Lady Phase and her matching resculpted Adios buddy. Phew!
The best part of it is my 3 year old daughter has an old Misty body I gave her close to a year ago and she sits right next to me just about the whole time I'm painting. Poor Misty has about an eight of an inch of paint on her so far! Some spots she's losing her fur texture there's so much!
