The feast has begun in the backyard as of this morning (but then again, it's just like every OTHER morning!) except it was 11 degrees out. . . Brrrrrr! Still, the pony insisted on eating outside! In between whipping up a few things to bring to my uncle's house for dinner later i hope to continue prepping the mini Backbeat Thunder. I started last weekend but got too busy and, at one point, he ended up on the counter among the daily egg haul!

That's not just the name of a model I got outbid on from eBay in the last few days . . . it's also what's been happening in the studio last night and today! Besides working on Cindy's Keeno (which I swear I'm going to finish soon!) I completed a tiny appaloosa Alborozo, a highly CM'd SM pony with a new mane and tail. I'm also pretty darn close to finishing a Tushar CM as well. And, all this, while it snowed like crazy outside! Nothing stuck it was just a windblown snow globe about 40 degrees. Sure was pretty from the other side of the windows! All this wind we've had lately pretty much brought fall to a quick conclusion. You can see how many leaves are left on our trees . . . NONE! Thanks Mother Nature! It's been so windy and cold that the last 2 nights all the chickens went inside on their own- even Hawk! I don't blame them either- there aren't enough feathers to block the breeze! I thought it might be a good opportunity to do some further desensitizing with the girls. As you can see, Nighthawk is terrified of the umbrella . . .
