It turns out the big mare's intermittent lameness is *probably* caused by her side bones:

The most convenient part of the whole day was selling my Beval English saddle for cash right before the farrier arrived- more than paid for her new shoes AND someone's going to get good use out of that saddle now!
I also sold Mabob, the model donkey. Hopefully he'll get out and shown more. I was able to prep and prime a Nakota, a Phar Lap and a SM Stock horse so they're totally ready to get paint when we come home next week. I'm considering doing a "Who wore it best?" kind of thing with the 3 of them.
We cleaned up a TON of construction debris and my girl and I had a bonfire almost every night last week. I got some neat pictures but the camera's in the truck already so they'll have to wait.
