In model stable news, I purchased my Limerick back (yay!) AND finally added the beautiful glossy appaloosa SR Heartland model to my collection all in the same day! That's especially great because I've only wanted that very model pretty much from the day I did touch up work on him years ago! Besides that, we got to play with one of my favorite mutts and turtles!
Pictures to follow when everyone's not laying down on the shelves to avoid being knocked over while my husband hammers siding onto the house.
In backyard stable news, the big mare has not one but two abscesses- both front feet- blah! At least she's getting really good at soaking in epsom salts. It also gives me plenty of time to play with all her hair. The picture below shows that I stopped at about 125 rubber bands! She thanked me by rolling on them!
The studio is still in a state of disrepair although I did move 2 horses onto the now cleaned off painting desk in preparation for actually painting them sometime this month (really, I swear!)
There's a Bobby Jo piant horse and a Midnight Tango destined to be a portrait pony.
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July week and weekend!
