The garden is awake and it's day lily season!
This guy, who has been in the works for awhile, should be finished today as well. I'm hoping to add him to my For Sale page shortly! This is a picture of him from a few days ago:

Here's the place to find out what's on my painting table, what's happening around the farm, and what's coming up next!
So, I'm seeing a bunch of people listing their Ballynoe Castle online for sale so I guess he's actually supposed to be here! He'll be on my For Sale page shortly because it's not a mold I collect and this guy is TOO pretty to customize! The garden is awake and it's day lily season! Speaking of the puppy . . . this is just one shot of the Shepherd, Nora, in her qualification for sainthood! Sammy is like a relentless little gremlin and she is giving him a run for his money! She's letting him win at tug of war and chasing him around the yard to wear him out every day! Today is supposed to be super rainy for the rest of the day and, besides checking off the Breyerfest workshops, I'm planning on sculpting 'til I run out of Epoxy Sculpt!

So, UPS showed up this afternoon and I could not for the life in me remember WHAT I had ordered . . . that never happens! The box did, indeed, have my name on it and this guy was inside: Did ANYONE else get their Ballynoe Castle RM delivered already? I'm not complaining but I want to make sure it's not a mix up . . .
He's lovely by the way! This guy was SUPER fun to paint and I hope he goes to a show home! Maybe you are an appaloosa enthusiast, perhaps he would bring extra Pride to your stable, or it could be that you just like rainbows! Whatever the reasoning, contact me to make him, or any of the other models I've currently got for sale, yours this week!
By my calculations, this is Pandemic Pony #24. If you're thinking I missed #23- you're right! He'll be listed tomorrow. He was done but then I decided he needed more. I promise he's worth the wait! Anyway, this simple Cody model CM was completed in between puppy craziness and play dates so he had to be of a style that I could pick up and then quickly put down if someone was about to run into me or something! Good times! So, I don't know what to officially call him seeing as he's somewhere in between a sugar skull and a crazy teenage doodle during Algebra class . . . Here are some additional pictures of the puppy and friends . . . because, PUPPY! The other big excitement on the farm side was that my new saddle came in on Monday! It is pretty much the most gorgeous thing I've ever bought for any of my horses. I am still kind of in a state of shock that I actually own it and that it came in almost a month early, too! Thank goodness it fits Nighthawk like a dream and I notice a big difference in how she's moving in it versus the other western saddle I was using. I think she even likes it better than my dressage saddle! Crazy story, the other day the girls were out on grassland and SOMEBODY seems to have lipped the gate open and took herself on a grazing walk outside the paddock. I was working in the backyard and noticed probably a minute after that went down. Well, when Nighthawk realized she was on the wrong side of the fence, she stopped and yelled, "I'm on the WRONG SIDE of the fence!?" After that, she quickly reached a state of panic, mostly because Guinevere was being SUPER helpful by running along the inside of the fence screaming, "YOU"RE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE FEEEEEEENCE!" over and over and over. . . I ran around closing gates and locking the pony in a stall while Nighthawk did about 4 beautiful canter laps around the turnout just to get my heart pumping. By the time I got the stupid pony locked up, wouldn't you know my big mare was waiting for me at the back gate, kicking it no less. I gave her a big pat, opened it up and she trotted right back in and then looked annoyed that I'd closed off the Grassland section- Ugh! Horses! The good news (waiting for that, right?!) was that I was able to harness so of that energy and enthusiasm for freedom this afternoon and I actually got her to canter around the outside of the turnout while under saddle! I've been cantering her quite a bit on the lunge line lately so the buttons were partially installed. She's sure got a nice canter, too! I was pleased that it was as nice in the saddle as it looked from the ground for the last few months! Happy 4th of July!
