I've had Cruise for 19 years as of next month and I'm glad that now I'll have him forever in model form. Next he needs a red "nylon" halter . . .
So last night I couldn't sleep so I decided to work on the EO Cruise Control portrait resin model (which, strangely enough is done on the revamped "Flint" resin) He needed a new paintjob on his mane and tail, I messed with his eyes, redid his hooves and added his socks in the back. Most of the time I sat out on the side of the fence and added markings and pencil roaning. Cruise and his pony supervised the process closely. That was fun! Overall I'm very pleased with the way he came out and I'm more pleased with the fact that he's DONE! I've had Cruise for 19 years as of next month and I'm glad that now I'll have him forever in model form. Next he needs a red "nylon" halter . . . Tonight I've begun working on a Moody Andalusian that's destined (as so many are) to be an appaloosa patterned tiger horse. He's bay with lightning markings on his legs and he's got a cool blaze face. Now for some hair by hair roaning and an appy blanket . . .
