We're expecting more snow tomorrow but hopefully not much this round. That means there may be some time to start on him after work.
Have a great week everyone! Be safe and keep warm!

Here's the place to find out what's on my painting table, what's happening around the farm, and what's coming up next!
He's finished! Finally! My National Model Painting Month horse, Dwight. I put off painting him for so long (like 21 days!) because I think I was intimidated by the choice of color - buckskin tobiano. It was also a little daunting seeing all the other amazing customs going up online daily. I literally painted 12 other horse after his sculpting, primer and base coats were done in order to avoid painting him! Here they are in no particular order: Besides ALL them I also did a considerable amount of work on the model I'm affectionately referring to as the "Seahorse" until I can come up with a better name for him. He weights a solid 2 pounds right now and is prepped and ready for paintwork. You know who else is prepped and ready for paintwork? My traditional Remington resin! He was not so much fun to prep but I'm looking forward to making him into a black frame overo paint pattern. I figured that after pushing and annoying myself with the Adios I'm allowed to go back to the black that I love to paint for this one. Besides, he'll make a super flashy paint horse!
