She splashed around for awhile before we got pictures taken. Then we went for a ride up Laurel Pond trail (I think it was that one) and then I pulled her tack and let her really go nuts in the water. That's the first picture up there. . . she splashed like crazy with both front feet for a few minutes and eventually plopped right down and rolled in the lake. She's such a happy goof ball! We spent the rest of the day cleaning the horse, cleaning the tack, picking up the turnout and reinstating Grassland- the girls were VERY happy about that! |
So, I finished another horse and listed him last night. He's a just for fun sugar skull Halloween little guy. He's been listed on eBay and he'll have a friend behind him shortly (with any luck!) I'm working on a clydesdale mare and a Smarty Jones to complete the Halloween line up for this year! This morning we headed to Waywayonda State Park before the Warwick, NY traffic got bad and we rode around for a few hours. It was pretty much the perfect fall day. Casey even got to go into the lake which she LOVES to do! I also listed 2 brow bands last night. One is regular horse sized in beautiful chocolate leather with red crystals and the other is over sized black leather one with various shades of teal beads. They're both super pretty and looking for a home where they'll get used! I originally made the red one for Guin but clearly it's too big for her! Oh well! Shoot me and e-mail if you think you'd like one of these, or a custom one, because I just keep making them and can't keep 'em all!
