Big mare wore her new beaded browband with the fox pad and orange half pad so she was totally fall matchy, matchy.

Here's the place to find out what's on my painting table, what's happening around the farm, and what's coming up next!
There was a local ride that a bunch of headed up to this morning and it was wonderful! Another great job by Quiet Creek Stable in Vernon, NJ! Big mare wore her new beaded browband with the fox pad and orange half pad so she was totally fall matchy, matchy. The only problem was that the fox pad (which I got cheap on consignment) seems to have dyed her a light shade of purple! That was a little bit of a surprise but she did sweat a LOT! Oh well, because of that she got a bath and rub down when we got home . . . and after Nora helped me clean out, park and unhook the trailer. Such a good helper! It's always so cool to get the girls wet and see their markings show up again. I couldn't imagine this big horse if she wasn't dappling out. She'd still be super flashy! I finished a bunch more browbands this week while taking the kid to karate class. We've now got a red wave one for Guin, a blue straight black one, a wave clear/rainbow, and the fall cream/orange/black one for big mare. There were more good deals on eBay so I may have ordered 5 more . . . let me know if anyone needs one! They'd make really nice gifts for the holidays (trainer? bard buddy?) I can't possibly bead all these for myself- could I?!
Have a great week everyone!
