On the way home I pulled off the county road and wheeled my truck over into the firehouse parking lot to spin some donuts and stuff. It was purely a research expedition, there was no pleasure involved (grins) I haven't driven my truck in the snow at all since I got it a few months ago. We were in and out of 4 Wheel Drive a few times and spun in both directions a little. I'm still getting a feel for what the big girl can do on slippery roads.
One of the guys who arrived this afternoon was "53 Spots" a model I've had my eyes on for awhile real casually. Well, I can have my eye on him permanently now because he lives here! He's different but a pretty cool guy overall. I'm glad he's found his way here even if he had to travel through the nasty winter weather 2 different times on his short voyage!
I also was able to add some bodies to the que. I'm excited to work on 2 more ISHs and a Cleveland Bay as well. I haven't had one of the "Big Boys" to play with in a while. With the big new shelf out in the studio corner I'm not pressed for space nowadays!
