I was thinking of riding this afternoon when the sun finally came out but the girls REALLY needed to be groomed instead. They apparently took the sun coming out as a cue to roll all sides in all the dirt! When we got home from the afterschool meeting I tied them both to the She Shed. Shock and awe- they were stuck in one place! Worst horse mom EVER! I quickly made it up to them by doing some SERIOUS deshedding with my good old fashioned shedding blade. So much horse ended up on the ground and they were several shades whiter when I was done. They also got out on grassland for 13 minutes. Yes, exactly 13 minutes because that's what they're up to now! They got out of being ridden when I had to leave to go see my students' softball game. After that some painting happened: This one means "Good Luck" as far as I can tell and it's looking for a new home! I'm also wrapping up that Secretariat custom that's been going on for awhile now. He's looking good with his new lowered neck and is just waiting for primer to dry over night before actual paintwork begins! Time permitting, tomorrow will see something happen with this gal as she gets closer to paint work. Hope everyone's having a great week!
