Lots of comings and goings this week despite it being the first week back at work for me and my daughter's first week of Kindergarten!
The tobiano Hackney and the bay Carrick (who is pictured above) found new homes this week along with a few OF models. Also, I did something that I've only done one other time . . . I bought back a model I sold. The roan Wintersong was a beast to customize, a pain in the butt to paint and I missed his class in the only show I ever brought him to but as soon as I sold him I kinda missed him. He should be back by the end of the week!
A glossy Namid arrived here yesterday and, although she's got some minor flaws, I'm really tempted NOT to customizer her. There's just nothing like gloss on a dark horse to make the color POP! I also got a few more Marchador celebration models (Shout out to my pal Caitlin!) I can't wait to have time to customize them. Someone needs a longer, flowy mane and tail I think . . .
In other news, I've got a Copperfox (yeah, that's right- my FIRST Copperfox Custom) that I'll be putting up early this week. She's the cantering pony in black leopard appaloosa and I've really pleased with the way she came out. I missed taking pictures of her in daylight today but I'm hopeful I'll be able to snap a few in between school and the firehouse tomorrow.
I'm also just wrapping up a clydesdale mare in a deep, red bay with some crazy sabino markings. She may be already spoken for but I'll put up pictures anyway!
After that I'm hoping to put the finishing touches on the Cleveland Bay Mare Pair for Yvonda's special project. Here's her business card . . . check her out! She's on Facebook, too!
