In other news, my husband will be doing some work on the small barn for me tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it's the classic sized one and it's the one my daughter used to play with. When I acquired the large Breyer barn from a nice lady on Craigslist 2 weekends ago I was planning on donating the smaller barn. However, my kid had other plans and said, "this one is yours now, Mommy, so we both have barns now!" And that's how I turned into a 33 year old with a Breyer barn.
Tomorrow the barn is getting a new, slightly wider base, some repairs to the side wall that someone's dog gnawed on and perhaps even a coat of stain. I'm thinking it should be a honey colored stain, tin roof and red trim accents . . . we'll call that "Plan A" and see how it goes! Pictures to follow!
