We placed miserably in both divisions (trail and arena) but we still had an awesome day out and I was super proud of how adventurous and brave the big mare was. There was so much "try" in her this Sunday. That's really all that matters! (as opposed to last Sunday where she bucked at a bug and I flew off! LOL!) We ended up riding more than an hour all alone and it just might've been my favorite part of the day- there's nothing like being out in the middle of who knows where- just you and the horse. Wonderful!
More news: I bought a new to me horse trailer! Funny thing, it's actually a 2006 like my Valley trailer but it's a slant load Sundowner! Yeah, a Sundowner!
Tomorrow the puppy is having a play date with a golden retriever named Sunny. She's one of my student's dogs that I haven't seen in a month or so and we're super excited to have her over! I probably won't make Nora wear socks like I did the other day . . .
Have a great night everyone!
