Meanwhile, we've been enjoying the rock garden that we build over spring break! We ripped out a big, old rose of sharon tree (and by "we" I mean me and the dog!) and we replaced it with landscape fabric and almost all of my rock collection from Mt. Desert Island, the jersey shore, the Delaware River and anywhere else I've snagged pretty smooth rocks. I arranged them so that water from the gutter flows over and gets them wet every time it rains. One of my finest plans to date. . . It rains and I run to the window to see the rocks. Yeah, there's a hefty dose of crazy here . . I still have a few gaps to fill in. |
-a paddock pal resin getting some new mane and decorations (I think I'm on a rose kick these days!)
-a PAS for Rebecca
-a Stone drafter for Emily who got his bobs chopped off today
-a classic Arabian foal who's going to be a fantasy something model
-a San Domingo who's getting new mane and tail
There's lots going on here and things will be busy, busy 'til the end of the school year when my schedule opens right up!
Here's hoping all your rainy days end in a rainbow!
