Rainbow Mini Alborozo #2 is almost complete! They are so super fun to paint that I wouldn't mind doing another one after my eyes have had time to uncross! The more I paint them, the more I realize that I'm not cut out to do SM work. The scale is just too darned small for me to cram all the details in that I want to. I know MANY people can pull it off but they must have far thinner brushes (and far better eyes) than I do. More power to them! Give me the BIG guys any day and I'll go to town on them! |
He's BIG, he's strikingly BLACK (but will probably be roaned out some) and he's MAD! He's got a turned head, moved legs and pinned ears to go along with his totally new mane, forelock and tail. I added to his feathering, too, but you still don't want to be on the receiving end of a kick from him even with the extra fluff!
I'm hesitant to share the next project I've got going on because he's, for sure, in the ugly stage right now. That's right, it's going to be a REALLY fuzzy Shannondell . . . about a year from now if I keep up this pace!
