You'll notice that I've dyed her hair pink. I'm calling it a "mid-life/losing my horse crisis thing." I think it looks adorable on her and I plan to dye it darker pink before winter (since I have to put it on, let it sit for 1/2 hour and rinse it out with water). She was a really good sport and will totally let me do it again! She's such a good girl and being able to hang out with her exclusively is reminding me of that more and more everyday.
Well, the ponies are starting to bond . . . It's super cute when they get all itchy with each other. The scratch withers, bellies, sides of necks. The studio has been quiet since I've gone back to work but I'm still chipping away at things like the Daydreamer resin and my Shannondell model. Just trying to figure out an appropriate color combo for his ribbons now. That's been the sticking point for over a week now and the only think keeping him from getting final sealer and going up on my shelves! I've also started listing this year's crop of Halloween horses on eBay one at a time. So far the classic mustang foal has sold and the lying foal has bids. These are so much fun to paint and I take special requests for them on newer bodies, too! Let me know if one needs to join your herd this Halloween!
