Meanwhile, Big Mare is chilling in a stall tonight over at Stony Brook. She surprised the heck out of me by not appearing to care even for 3 seconds that she was in a new place, in a stall, surrounded by strangers and strange horses. She's only been there once for a lesson but settled right in nicely. Not to say I won't be over there at the butt crack of dawn to see her but at least I can sleep pretty soundly tonight.
I got a chance to finally finish up the ISH I'd been working on today while it was still raining. Here he is!
Studio wise tomorrow I hope to finish up a SM commission piece and pack up a few models that have time payments wrapping up on them. Pictures to follow of the SM once he's completely out of the ugly phase.
Once we had the horses all settled in, the kid and I did some sparklers tonight and I played with my new camera. I'm slowly figuring stuff out with it and falling more and more in love every time I seem to do something right!
Happy Fourth of July, Everyone!
