Here's the place to find out what's on my painting table, what's happening around the farm, and what's coming up next!
This weekend I finally got time to finish up a few roany boys that have been hanging around for awhile. This first used to be an Ethereal before he was hacked to crap and put back together mostly with hot glue and tin foil. A buddy of mine really liked him so we decided to finish him off best we could. That involved rebreaking every . . . single . . . joint, digging out hot glue, tin foil and epoxy for several hours and then re doing everything. He got a new mane, the tail off the ISH that's pictured next, a half a pound of epoxy, two new ears and a WHOLE LOTTA sanding. He's still not perfect (not without like 20 more hours of work) but he's pretty handsome as is! I'll have to get the before pictures from my buddy so you can see just what we were dealing with at the beginning. We've got a jumper to work on next . . . that one won't be for awhile though! The next roany guy that saw his completion date this weekend is this ISH: The next two are my projects for Braymere Saddlery's National Model Painting Month. Showtime will be a black frame overo paint horse to replace the Phoenix I just trades for another ISH (details to follow on THAT situation tomorrow) and Laredo will be an appaloosa, most likely.
